How to access our service - a step by step guide

In this section we hope to explain how you can access our service via your GP and what happens next in a step by step way.

Moving through a particular NHS service or type of treatment is often referred to as a Care Pathway, and so here, we explain how to take the first step by visiting your GP and what comes next if you decide talking therapy is the right thing for you.

Because Inclusion is at the heart of what we do, we'll also explain how your feedback and experiences are so important in monitoring and improving our service for future users. More of that here.

The important first step

If you feel that you would like to access talking therapies from Inclusion Matters Wirral, the important first step is to make an appointment with your GP to speak about your concerns.

Our service is available to people aged 16 and above who are registered with one of the GP Practices on the Wirral.

Please enter your postcode in our Location Matters section to find out more.

Please note that we are now taking Self Referrals into the service. If you feel you require Talking Therapies please contact the office on 0151 649 1859.
